I hope there's no violation of the constitution. And how often do ministers of state and public officials declare their income and assets and does the IRS have the power to investigate members of the public including government appointees and elected officials when their revenue and income tax don't match. There's the perception of laxity with the implementation of laws and statutes. How long did it take Mahama to declare his assets as stipulated by the constitution? Was he not in violation of the constitution by the time he took office yet no one had the balls to bring him to order for fear of losing their job. Are our state institutions truly independent? We should stop fooling ourselves that we can fill the drum with water without first fixing the leakage.
