Who is he to, effectively, demand that a member of the technical team be fired before he will play for the Stars? He can’t dictate who GFA appoints to handle the team. It’s good he fired himself, and he should remain fired – the Black Stars don’t need him, he is not particularly a good goalie. By the way, nobody is indispensable. When time comes to play, we make do with what we have. Zakari did quite well and at least took us to finals and penalty kicks. Only one kick difference gave Ivory Coast the cup. Kwarasey must be learning the hard way that it’s ATTITUDE that gets you ALTITUDE, not APTITUDE.

As a nation, we have to swallow our pride and reconciliate for the better, and a dialog with Kwarasey and others must be looked into. Secondly we have to forget the past and move on as a nation. Mistakes were made within the world Cup era, and that must not be a permanent BLOCK.
