At a point in the recent past it seemed as if Ghanaians had lost interest in the African cup as we tasted sweet World Cup successes. But let us be grateful for our achievements. We have appeared in the finals of this competition a record 9 times, winning it four times. some friends from Togo, Burkina Faso, and even Nigerians wonder why God has favored Ghana so much over other countries. It is as if the AFCON was made for Ghana. The least effort we put and we are in the semis, a little more and we in the finals. As for qualification to the tournament itself, we now take it for granted. Ghanaians let us be grateful for little blessings and the mighty ones will follow.
