I think that initially there was an error and it was being reported that Burkina was ranked higher than Ivory Coast but that is not the case.

We eliminated them in 2008 and 2010.

For a perpetually-miserable continent, it will give greater chances to marginals like Kenya, Tanzania, Mauritania, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Botswana, Niger to have something their peoples can look forward to with cheer.
Maybe it will even inspire FIFA to move from 32 to 48 countries, as more countries have sprung up since 1991.
