This is 2014 and if we can't figure out how to assure player payments and make sure the job is done then we really need outside help. Players should have the right mindset to focus on training and playing and not have to worry about being paid. When you worry about stuff like this it means there has been PRECEDENT.

Let's try our best to be factual as we have only heard rumors and can't be sure these stories are true, but let's go along with your line of thinking and the rumors. Essien was not suspended and what we all read is that he sat down when Sulley and Armah had their altercation. Apparently he did not say a word. Is this your definition of snake under grass or do you have some other facts? Essien issued a statement asking for all sides to calm down and you still have a beef with him. Maybe you are one of the beneficiaries. Essien and the guys who play for the big/rich clubs don't need the money but we know our GFA people do. Maybe you are not aware of how much they make a week. Essien, KVP, Kwadwo Asamoah, Dede, Jordan and Sulley make a lot of money but they are not fools either. When they see all these GFA guys swarming around them and apparently hotel rooms are not even ready, it pisses them off. They know what it is like to be part of a first class organization and second class is not good enough. They therefore want to know what the GFA people walking around are all doing if they can't even ensure player needs are met. Is this so hard to understand? A smooth running operation enables good performance. Look at Cameroon who had the same problems. Normally it takes people like KVP and Sulley who don't need the money and can challenge the status quo to speak up. Apparently we are still living in the dark ages, where one can't question authority if the performance of the GFA leaves a lot to be desired. For the record Essien does not need to play for Ghana again. KVP can't be bothered either and he does not need Ghana now that he has played in 2 world cups. I doubt Sulley will make the next world cup, so all these guys will not miss wearing the shirt. They are fighting for the future of Ghana and you should not be insulting them. Again they have passion and care otherwise they will just put up with the nonsense, but don't for a minute think they need Ghana that bad.

Justice, are you trying to justify that slapping people is the right way to voice an opinion? Are you trying to justify the indiscipline of the three players concerned? Surely, the unprofessionally-run GFA with their backwardness facilitated the indiscipline but let us not glorify the senior players. Muntari, Essien and KPB are not part of the future of the Black Stars. With the exception of Muntari, the two others guys gave very little in the 2014 World Cup qualification campaign.
Having said this, the current GFA executive members have also outlived their usefulness. Nyantakyi has done well but he has run out of ideas and must resign for fresh ideas and someone who frowns on corruption. He is too corrupt and hides behind FIFA since the government cannot intervene in the affairs of the GFA without facing sanctions. And while at it, the government itself is so corrupt that they can only work with like-minded people. Mahama showed his displeasure at the Sports Minister by reshuffling (rather than dismissing) him.

We are all talking about Muntari slapping of Parker this has brought the issue of indiscipline, corruption and total mismanagement of Nyantakyi to the front burner not forgetting lack professionalism of Technical team. Right after the African Cup of 2012 the than Goran Stevanovic brought the issue of indiscipline and juju among players nothing was done about it Kwesi Nyantakyi is record to have said he had spent $10K of his own money on pastors and spiritualist is that the way handle the issue. Jordan Ayew made a comment when he and his brother quit that there is so many things going on in the Black Star and GFA he even posted a question "why do you think KPB quit? nothing was done about it instead of getting into the bottom of Jordan's comment the President went on begging.
In the nutshell one cannot justify violence but sometimes we need this wakeup call, can we justify war unless you are telling me war is violence but mankind goes to war all the time even in 21 century.

Of course, The FA has adopted a wait-and-see attitude. They already stated that in their corrupt video; 'After the people booze of their sorrows n a week or two; everything will go back to normal." Normal meaning the same corrupt and inefficient ways.
What a pity.
If you don't dissolve that FA and reconstitute it with better principles and fresh minds; what you will get now onwards is the TYRANY OF CORRUPT AND IGNORANT Nyantakyi and Appiah. And the players will also entrench their mistrust through resistance and incooperation.
No body - I don't as do many good players- respects Ignorant and corrupt people. You are going to loose the services of good players who have a mind of their own and would have to do with the inferior players like John Boye who kiss money in public because they know they don't deserve more.
