Lille make €4.5m Ayew bid

Olympique Marseille are ready to sell Ghana striker Jordan Ayew to Lille after the northern France club made a bid of €4.5 million for the forward.

Lille are in the market for a striker following Liverpool’s 14 million Pounds bid for their Belgian striker of Kenyan descent Divork Origi and have identified Ayew as the right replacement, according to Le10 Sports.

Lille president Michel Seydoux is an admirer of Ayew. Schalke, West Brom, Stoke and Hull City are also on his heels, but the desire to stay in Ligue 1 will force him to opt for Les Dogueus.

Ayew spent the second half of last season on loan at Sochaux and scored five goals.
