That his mother is a Moroccan does not make him a German-Moroccan. Maybe you are not aware of German immigration regulations. Both parents according to German law are foreigners, and a child born by them automatically is also a foreigner, but depending on their residential status in Germany at time of birth of that child, with regulation from immigration law from january 1986, the child automatically becomes a German, but can also maintain the nationality of either parents untill the age of 18, when the said child has to give up the dual citizenship. In this instance, with FIFA regulation on nationality, he is illegible to play for Germany, Ghana and Morocco, but the decision lies on him.
