What is the rush for our young talents to leave Ghana to play in most cases substandard leagues?Aboagye would have done well playing at least one or two more seasons at Ghana's premier league thereby qualifying to play for the local Blackstars for the next two continental tournaments. This would have properly displayed and advertised his talents to better leagues for a better deal. Now he will have to work extra hard to climb out of that sinkhole he has jumped into.GFA needs to set up an advisory board of some sort which will assist with nonbinding advice and networking base for our players who desire to play abroad.

Clifford Aboagye is a budding creative midfield player. He just has to work harder to break into the first team at his club. The better he plays, the more likely he is to move to a bigger club.

There are quite a few players at the premier league with less talent making more than Clifford. It is just the perception with Ghanaian players that foreign leagues are better than our local league even though we keep churning out one quality player after another. And the coaches are not helping. How can they over look prospects like Adusei,Nuru,Ainooson,Asare,Helegbe for the likes of Essien,Jordan,Rashid,Akaminko and Dada. That is why our players are in such a hurry to eave the local league.
