Point accepted! 2008 AFCON was an example. We took some hidden unfitted players to that tournament and we paid a big time. When it was time for us to have defenders to back us up at the defense, couple of them were down since the beginning of the tournament till the end and couldn't get their fitness back. I think we learnt our lesson from that incident.
Now, let us evaluate these few players who are unfit at the moment according to TM, and see the available players we could possibly use to replace them. Here are the names brought to the table: John Mensah, Micheal Essien, Rabiu Mohammed, Isaac Vorsah, John Boye. We have three defenders and two midfielders. Let us begin with the defense first. John Mensah, John Boyer and Isaac Vorsah are our best central defenders. Which other central defenders do we have to take these two positions? We have Jonathan Mensah who has been sitting on bench at his club lately. We have Jerry Akaminko, Awal Mohamed, Sumiala Rashid. How are these players doing in their respective clubs? That is a question we need to ask. We may need four for the trip to Brazil. We are talking about the original 4 and 5 positions. Bring in some names and if not then we have no choice but to take what we have.
Midfilders, Rabiu and Essien. Both players are mainly defensive midfielders. This is a particular position we have been blessed with many players. I believe we have few to take over. Agyeman Badu, Wakaso Mubarrack, Kevin Prince Boateng, who sometimes is an unfit fully for the position. Here is a question we need to ask ourselves. Do we have quality players as these unfit ones? What do you think? Come out with names and analyses to replace these players. Without that, blind argument wouldn't
work.

The truth is that most of these foreign based players have made some money, and therefore wouldn't mind bribing their way to be selected to participate in the tournament.

It is really be a big dis-service for any player knowing quiete well is not fit to just fake it to get selected to such an important tourney just because of money.Yes we all know every player wants to be show cased in the wc because the whole world will be watching but if one really loves his country will really think twice to do just that.Let us take Essien for example he asked to be excused from selection when he found himself he was not fit that was great thing he did although others thought he faked it but he knows himself better and did not want to be an embarasement to the team.I hope the right thing will be done.Just look at Jordan he knows by now that only his brother Dede is a BS material and a megastar but still wants to force his way into the fold.Abedi was also no doubt a megastar.
