The contested of Stephen Appiah's request asking them to demand more money is that old players are suffering and the country is not doing anything for them. I have been on record many times about these old players. The truth is that some are just making up stories the claim Kwame Nkrumah promised the 1963 and 65 squad a house is not truth no one had shown us newspapers or press release and Kwame Nkrumah would have fulfilled that promise b/4 Feb 24 1966.
The current players has no excuse if we had under 17 and 20 world cup players like Kwesi Owusa, Dan Owusa and co would have the opportunity to play in Europe. 99% of the current Black Star players got to where they are because Ghana show case them in the Under 17 and 20 world cup if this is not good enough what do they want.

No footballer retires after 60 so they have more strength to diversify their resources properly. Learn from the mistakes of the past footballers rather than use their plight as bad examples. If you people don't know how to manage or invest the hundreds of thousands of dollars you make, maybe it will be best to ask GFA to set up a retirement fund where you can contribute into it towards your retirement. You do not expect the start to pay you for the rest of your life.
It is not secret that you people engage in ostentatious life style during you playing days. Sometime ago it was reported that one player's wrist watch has been stolen. It turns out the watch cost more than fifteen thousand dollars.
