We need you in Brazil to do damage, so have caution at the back of your mind Brother! God will do the rest! Amen.

Exactly!! my brother, if I were him I would be careful with my legs. Mind you Waris, the world cup is just around the corner. Akwei Alla!!!

I think this guy should be included in the world cup squad.... What more prove do we need about this guy....... a player who takes chances is the one we need... I hope favouritism doesn't destroy the selection of our squad.

This guy has already won the admiration of Akwasi Appiah and AA has proved this by including him in our recent important games. What then,is your source of worry? Also, captain Gyan has confirmed the fruitful partnership with h ...

AA shd be open minded ..only the best at the time of the matches shd play....

  • Amo D 10 years ago

The question is why start him from the bench instead of Kevin Boating?Gyan is our permanent striker who deliver consistently in terms of goals whereas Boating just came back after our qualification was in the bag and has this ...

AA has to be very open minded I agree but to say that Waris is better than Gyan is like driving on the left in Ghana. It's wrong my brother. Since 2005 when Gyan became part of the senior national team on permanent basis, thi ...

    Thank you.
Some Ghanaians don't like peace at all. When people are enjoying comments from one another, and happy that Warris is banging in goals, look at a comparison -- to start confusion and arguments!

And that partnership must not be broken; that duo upront is very potent. Let KPB play just behind them, and we can rake havoc for opponents.

a lot of our players are too short..waris is a very very good player. If he was 5 inches taller he would be playing for barcelona by now. The boy's football know-how is top notch

  • AMERICA LOVER 10 years ago

Hi Neequaye, what is the height of Messi?

  • KK 10 years ago

I was just about to ask him that! Iniesta, Xavi, Maradona,... are all short. In fact Waris is very good in the air, and he is fast and skilful as hell. No shortcomings on his part.

  • neequaye 10 years ago

if u are a short footballer u must be exceptional. iniesta, messi, xavi are excpetional talents. imagine if they were average..they wouldnt be playing at that high level. in other words if u are an average player u cannot be ...

In other words, you can't get everything in life. You can't be tall, beautiful, skillful, rich, and everything.
So you have to choose one or become a selfish or greedy person!

  • NANA KUFUOR 10 years ago

To me the bane of Ghanaian football is the selfish way they play. For their clubs in Europe, they play as a team, fluid quick passing. when playing for Ghana, they play stomach football, that is, they get the ball run,run unt ...

You must be dreaming. John Mensah, Jordan and Adiyiah have no chance whatsoecver. Jordan inclusion would be a pure favoritism. And we don't need that. The dude can't even score in the french league, let alone at the world cup ...

Modern football is more about thinking and not just kicking anymore and most of our young players are still just kicking the ball thats why they are finding it difficult to get good playing time.
