Arthur Moses and some of our footballers in general can go to hell if they like. If you go in for a woman you truly don't deserve, you pay a big price and this is it. Did the girl forced him to marry her? No is definitely the answer. Rather the guy thought he's got money and because bible says "money answers all things" he'll take advantage and go for a woman far above his class. Some of our players are marrying women with masters degrees when they themselves even couldn't complete high school. Strange you say that POW, my sister actually was involved in a divorce in America some years back and tried to use me as a witness in court.She lied so badly in court about the character of her exhusband it boarded on ridiculous but the American court accepted everything she said as gospel truth.I refused to bear false witness against Peter and because of that she hasn't spoken to me in over seven years.Yes she won the case and the house was taken and given to her along with the family car and all other properties.He was also ordered to pay a good portion of his pay for her upkeep every month.He subsequently fled to another state and worked with a friends papers for a while but eventually left for Ghana.They tell me the house was ceased by the government for unpaid taxes and she has remarried again.She is my sister and I don't wish bad things on her but I will not condone such evil behavior and you must not do so too.

In fact, there is a rising trend that our women are aggressively using formalization of marriage at the Courts or Marriage Registries to grab properties from husbands, even though these women never helped build these properties in anyway.
This lady may well deserve what she is seeking for. But our men must be on the look out. The modernization of marriage in Ghana is good for recognizing our wives and children in estate sharing. But many women are abusing it.
Cases of poisoning husbands, or devising plots to justify early divorce for their properties, especially in overseas, are rising among our folks.
I am currently witnessing a litigation in Court in which a woman stealthily took the title of her husband's house that the man built before marrying her to alter the ownership and put her name on it. The woman did this only a few months into the marriage. This behavior alarmed the man to ask for divorce. And just as anticipated the woman is suing for half or more of the House.
The man went out of his way to pay her a substantial alimony plus renting a nice flat for the woman to last a year. Yet, the woman is insisting on getting the House.
I guess the Stars would be better off having their potential wives sign nuptial agreement to protect their properties and reasonably accommodating the wives success at the same time.
