KKKKK! you are a typical Ghanaian, always limiting himself and then try to limit other's ability because he cannot accept a new challenge and overcome it. Let city sign him first and you just sit back and watch the show, it is only then that you can say whether he is good enough for them or not. You do not even know the guy yet you've place a limit on his ability why?

Do you call 10 goals in 30 or so games in the EPL unable to handle the pressure in that league?
I can deduce from your submission that your problem is not about his ablility but his individual chioce, and I find it hard to accept why people find it so difficult to accept and respect other people's choices in life.
You may never understand the hype given to the EPL and how it is percieved albiet artificially to be the best in the world!
I guess that is why every footballer would want to have a taste of it, but once they do and find out that it's not as it seems they move on when they get the slightest opportunity.
And that is not called 'cannot handle the pressure', its all about individual choices and the earlier you people accept that the better because you will never know and understand what motivated him to make that choice!

It's not about his soccer skills, but his demeanor. Gyan cannot take the pressure at Manchester City; he will retire in a week.

You are not observing right, if Gyan can carry the whole continent on his back in 2 world cups, play for Sunderland and other European clubs etc. what make you think that he can't play for Man City? Perhaps you have been brainwashed and sick from inferiority complex. The standard of football has grown and Ghana and her players are as good as any other country and her players if not better. Remember even in the 60's Ghana, Kotoko and Hearts of Oak played against many "big big" teams from Europe and elsewhere and defeated some of them. Osei Kofi and Kotoko destroyed Stoke City at the Baba Yara Stadium. Gyan is one of the best strikers in the world today.

City prefers to spend money on younger players who are prolific scorers in European Leagues and evn folks like Balotelli and Dzeko could not get a game on a consistent basis. Frankly he will struggle to get a game and the man is not 28 (the Accra Academy guys know this). Gyan is smart and plies his trade in a stress free league and is doing well. Stay there bro. In your younger years you clearly had the talent to succeed at City but father time has come calling so enjoy the pension money. If you are a business man you invest in Assets that will make you more money in the future. In Gyan's case he's way too old. It's a business not charity.

I find Asamoah's decision to go to the Gulf Region as more strategic than old-age or depreciating skills. Timeliness is key to success! He played in the European league at his youth, and, he didn't wait to be pushed-out as a result of physical deterioration. He left when he felt time was due to leave Europe.
If I have to invest in a player, I would invest in A. Gyan based on the foregoing premises.
