Here is one:

Have you ever wondered why a sales person will great one customer with an alert or an emphatic "Yes Sir, may I help you?" but virtually ignore another?
Why a man will open a door for one woman but not the other?
Why an employee will consistently carry out the instructions of one superior but grudgingly do what another superior requests.
Or, and or with emphatic or, why we will pay close attention to what one person says but not to another?
Just look around your immediate surrounding, you'll observe some people receiving the "Hey Charlie" "Hey, Buddy" treatment while other others receive sincere and important "Yes, Sir" treatment. Whatchugot?
These life's reality illustrations above could be never ending if you dare try.
Any one answer to any of these illustrations so far brought forward usher us into this fact:
"OUR PRIORITIES"
It is no secret that Ghana, our beloved country endowed with all the natural resources you can think of,is now, OOPS!, almost on the verge of bankruptcy.
The government, past and present, is believed, are experts in obtaining loans/aid purported to help revamp the economy. These loans are approved based on the various natural resources
that abounds.
Unfortunately, the monies once obtained are used to pay for her workers. ie. bonuses, arrears, kickbacks, fringe benefits, bad debts. They call it 'judgement debts' to the utter detriment of rural developments and general enhancement of the people.
The cause of the problem is not far fetched. It is due to the misplacement of our priorities.
Since I am into sports, and soccer being my delight for that matter, I will stop and make here my dwelling place.
In soccer alone, the government is the sole sponsor of the 'Unders': 17, 20, 23 and the GBS.
Followed closely is the women targets
of the Virgins, the Maidens, the Queens and of course, the Menopauses.
There have been occasions where the ruling government fall flat by way of money to sponsor some of these categories but would go out of her way to borrow money in a face saving spree only to get entangled with debts.
Am not in any way discounting sports and its benefits it brings to the people but thr truth must be told.
The government currently is having
money problems and one wonders why she couldn't put off temporarily some of these sporting disciplines until such time that she would be adequately ready to resume.
The other time, I read about amputees, the deaf, the blind, beach soccer, hockey, swimmers, athletics, and a host of unheralded disciplines pleading for economic help to enable them partake continental games.
I thought with the precarious economic mess we find ourselves, the government was going to veto a unilateral order saying some of these games are going to be either suspended or scrapped altogether for economic reasons.
In the absence of participating in foreign competitions, the ministry could formulate a system where such unpopular disciplines could be competed locally until such time that the economy would improve.
The other time, I read about the government only saddled with/ interested in the GBS only.
This is true because by no fault of anybody, football/soccer is second to politics. Its the incommunicado, the passion of every Tom, Dick and Harry,
world wide.
Besides, it is the only sport amongst the lot that generates milk and honey.
In conclusion therefore, the government must suspend, and or relegate the under 17 to the schools as they undergo stiffer competitions year in, and year round for a period of five years.
The under U23 must be shelved or scrapped completely since I see not much difference between them and the senior team. Moreover, the U23 folks represents the premier league.
The Maidens should prominently feature
in a league of its own locally and be used as the feeder trout to the Queens.
The Local GBG, a feeder trout to the GBS, currently the winners of the WAFU, the amputees, as well as Beech soccer are all the 'Mmatahoo' of the GBS and have no business going global.
Whilst WAFU deals with the premier league, the amputees and the Beach soccer must be confined to local feature only.

Beats Me.
