There is no cause to worry about security in Cairo, Egypt on 19 November. It is going to be football at its best and nothing more or less. The Egyptians know they are already out but they would like to redeem some pride by beating the Stars. And that is where the danger is. A 6-1 lead can easily be wiped out if the Egyptians are prepared for a match and we are not.
The players need to have the right mentality to avoid any crisis in Cairo. First, they must prepare well - it's good the match is on a Tuesday. Second, the players must be smart enough to avoid unnecessary cards. The penalty given away in the Accra match is an example of a player who is not smart. If such a thing happens in Cairo, the referee might even show a red card as well. The referee is there to whistle against infringements. So if you bring down your opponent in your "18" don't expect the referee to overlook it. Finally, it is not a smart thing to be quarreling with the referee. The match is not against the referee but the Egyptians.
Definitely, our team is deserves to be in Brazil more than the Pharaohs.

We must endeavour to string our passes neatly together; we can't allow them to have more possession. The Egyptians are by now rehearsing on how to feign foul tackles and drop in and around our "18-yard" box, looking for penalty and free-kicks etc. Let's be vigilant and avoid unnecessary tackles and provocations. We should totally out-play them, right in front of the rowdy fans; we should let them understand that we're superior! The 6-1 scores aside, Egypt isn't any great problem; they're a very good side but they'll fall again in their own backyard and that's what they don't seem to realise. They have the notion that we're afraid of them. NO, we're never afraid of any team. Let's get to Cairo or wherever FIFA might propose and shut them off. It should be clear that we're ready for battle!

After all, Odenkey was born right here in Accra and has repartraited and invested some of his hard earned earnings and established a world class Sporting Facility here in Accra, his hometown, helping the next generation to develop their talents to represent Ghana on the world stage.
