I wonder how the gate fee for matches are determined. How can the gate fee be GHC3, GNC4, or GNC7,when the Clubs are supposed to have Proffessional players & give them good contracts. The minimum total gate proceeds for a match should be GHC1.0m to enable the clubs meet costs & also maintain the stadiums well. If the players are paid well, quality of football will improve, & many fans will easily pay to watch games. Phobia, I support the move to increase the ate proceeds. I grew up in a big extended family which was almost equally divided into Kotoko and Hearts supporters. The memories of some of my cousins trying in vain to convince me that Kotoko was better than Hearts are some my most bonding relationship with my family.Fast forward 20 years later and my work has relocated me from Kumasi to Accra and what do I find here?Pure hateful sentiments to all that is Ashanti.I can not even mingle with the Hearts supporters base as all their energy is directed toward hating Ashantis. Now where does that leaves a life phobia supporter like me?Simple...I can not support a club that seem to hate me because of my tribe.I can not support a club which is so Pre occupied with Kotoko for a simple reason the club comes from Ashanti region. So I do not sit with the
phobians any more and to be honest I find myself strangely satisfied every time Hearts looses a game. There are many more like me around and if Hearts ever want to get back to being a national team they will have to win us back and this can only happen if they purge the foul insults on other tribes and also disown those Ga fanatical hoodlums who are are dragging our reputation in the mud.Thank you.

Come on to the really integrated club where you are free to be yourself.Kotoko players come from all the regions and at Kumasi sport stadium the supporter cheering his or her head off could be a Ga,Hausa,Ewe,Fanti or even Chinese and we love and protect them all.Even if you are not a supporter you still accorded all the respect and consideration fair play and sportmanship commands. No insults and absolutely no hatred.JUST FABULOUS.
