To this end, he is turning every unturned stone to his advantage. You would well understand that KPB's changing minds to play again wasn't an easy task. MRAA has meticulously mapped this out long before now.

Look, we all wants the best for the team, so we deserve to have those who have the country at Heart to represent us at all time but not those who are just seeking their glories on the account of the country. KPB shunned the country ride after W/C by playing one match for the country then he complained about both national and club duties as a tedious for him. Even four years ago when he used to be young enough to stand the heat was TEDIOUS for him. So from 22yrs. to 26yrs, which one would be more easier for him now. We love the game and cherished our national players soo much so that if you ignore us when needed most without tangible reason, you break our hearts. Taking the whole 24/25M coaches for granted is not something we should CONTINUE TO TOLERATES. Between now and June 2014 is a long period that even some of these under 20 players may outshine some senior players and might be called after the qualifiers. Such is life, so just leave out monkey dey work and check this.
KPB is just taking us for fools period. This guy prior to the 2010 world cup was begging and calling FIFA at random just to speed up his nationality change documentations. he finally got his wish, joined team Ghana for the world cup and started misbehaving right after that. 3 years after the W/C in 2010, a player of KPB's caliber has played just one match for his national team, even that he was substituted because he didn't show any commitment in that match. That guy is not going for the world cup with Ghana period. He can change nationality again, may be Cape Verde, this time.

I am sure he was examined by Ghananain medics before being ruled out of that game. He couldn't come to the game against Egypt because of another injury. Unfortunately some Ghanaians believed it was a fake injury. I believe the player should be given another chance to prove himself as the Black Stars coach is planning to do. His inability to play for the Black Stars through injury whether real or not is making many Ghanaians lose patience with him. But the truth is he will give the Black Stars extra dimension both in midfield and as an attacker. And we need that if we qualify for Brazil. With teams such as Germany; Spain; The Netherlands; England; Argentina and of course the hosts Brazil in the frame, Ghana must call on all her available resources to compete effectively and go all the way in the tournament. We must also not forget that Michael Essien dilly-dallied with his return to the Black Stars for well over 2 years not only through injury. He told Ghanaians he will return when he is ready. Paradoxically, Essien returned to the fold when he was still being benched by Chelsea and My God we know how effective his contribution has been since his return. So let's see what happens in the next invitation to KPB. Let's pray he doesn't get injured. But if he does, then he should still come down to be examined by Ghanaian medics about the authenticity of his injury. In that way, we will be able to come to conclusion whether he should be invited again or not. The other thing which we have not been able to establish is whether his constant injury is due to the fact that he is yet to recover fully from the initial injury which kept him out of the Zambian game. Or whether an operation is needed to solve the problem.

Brother K you have certainly made some powerful and intelligent points here. But the reality is he missed 2 matches claiming he was injured. Certainly in the first, he was actually ruled out by Ghanaian medics following examination. He and Gyan were carrying knocks but the Skipper was passed fit to play in that match. I suspect KPB has not fully recovered from his nagging injury which plagued him whilst at Milan. Having said that getting injured prior to playing for Ghana have undoubtedly raised suspicions about his commitment. Perhaps it will be better if the GFA get's the full report on his injury prior to the Egypt game to establish the authenticity or otherwise. So it is not clear whether he was actually feigning injury or not. So I believe he should be given the benefit of the doubt under such circumstances. I think that's why the coach is reported to be considering calling him again. And I favour that. Others may not but in the end the coach has to decide and I think we should trust in his judgement. Sometimes it is important to put our passions aside when deciding on nagging issues. It can easily cloud our good judgement. I believe the Black Stars will do well without KPB. But I also believe he can bring extra fire-power and experience to the team. Kojo, you may not care about the World Class teams that we meet. But I care because I believe our team can do even better in Brazil than in South Africa if we get there. And May God help Ghana to do just that.

They have them. They just don't like the player for that fact that he couldn't play for both Zambia and Egypt's match.
There is nothing you would say for KojoLee, POW, Mr. N, The Stallion and few others to relent from their conclusion toward the player. I see the situation as something positive would come out of it. The point here is none of them including Polo, Tony Yeboah, Kofi Manu, and now Harry could stop the coach from inviting KPB. Therefore, it doesn't bother me anymore.

Michael Essien's absent from the team for his treatment, has given us some players we can rely on today. KPB's unavailable for national assignment, also has given the team good players we can fall on. Andrea Ayew and Jordan's short break from the national team, as well, provided us with some back-up we can depend on today.
These are some of the things you need to look upon when one takes a break. It doesn't break the country but rather strengthens us. Stop being a near sighted person and look for the future.

After the W/C, I would like to see Kwadwo Asamoah, Wakaso, John Boye, Vorsah, the Ayews, Mungu Yara and the rest to seek break from the national assignment until Afcon time or W/C tournament because they also deserve attention for their respective clubs. Playing for national team shouldn't be an ass kissing. It is time to be soccer autonomous and stop the attitude we may need this or that player. What about those who have brought us to this far?
