But I think these days Ghana is trying to field the correct age players as we have realised that cheating at youth tournaments does not help. The youth tournaments are meant to develop young players. If you go there with old players, you will win the U 17 tournament, but when it comes to the senior team (the one that really matters) you will have no talent coming through

But at least these days, we have realised that cheating does not get us anywhere and we are trying to field the correct age. That is what Naija has to learn. Those days of cheating are over as they do not benefit the nation in the long run.

The only time Ghana presented a semblance of U16 was the time the team failed woefully (ie the last african U 16 qualifiers).
