  • Avogadro 11 years ago

It is normally not the fault of a coach when an injured player 'pretends' he is okay and goes to play. Just a little act of self-preservation could have saved A. Gyan any further injury. Even though he scored a goal, the te ...

All they care is to see him beat Abedi's record even if it will cause him his career. Forgetting that Abedi's record to beat goes beyond goals. What about the 3 times African best??? Where is Gyan in this arena. Guys leave Ab ...

If he would refused to play, people like YOU will be on his back. He put his country first. is that the mistake he made ?

That coach should stop whining and shut up! These are some of the vagaries of the football business. Win some, lose some....c'est la vie. Asamoah will die for his country first! We made him!

why is the mistake from the gfa docter or,the coach is taying to blame ghana?

  • Supporter 11 years ago

If it is true Gyan had injury why was it that the GFA doctors did not detect it. Now he cannot play for his club as well as the Black Stars. We both lost as a result of the GFA doctors incompetence. We should grow as a nation ...

Sammy kuffuor said our doctors are incompetent and often aggravate players injuries. He said this in support of Dede's decision to consult his team doctor insted.

This has nothing to do with the GFA doctors. If Gyan wanted to play would a doctor has a say in that even though was diagnosed unfit? Have you asked Gyan who made him play? Have we heard from the player? Who would have forced ...

I disagree with you on this one. Doesn't the technical team ask a player whether he can play or not? Who forces who to play? No body and you should be aware of that.

If one is ask and he insists to play, what rule governs ...

The one who was evaluated by the GFA has aggravated his problem whereas the one who was evaluated by his European technical coach is still playing. We're you born with your buttocks first and can't reason?

  • John 11 years ago

Thank u Bea. Does it mean if Asamoah Gyan"s legs were broken and he insists to play the coach will field him? It simply shows the medical team does not know the extent of the injury that is why they allowed him to play.

  • Slimzay **The Unshakable Shaker** 11 years ago

A broken leg is obvious whilst a fracture isn't. Gyan could have said something and most of us could have backed him up.

  • Slimzay **The Unshakable Shaker** 11 years ago

When talking about reasoning, on this issue, you are not. Here are my reasons.

What is the main idea about this article? Have you asked yourself that?

The reason DEDE AYEW was axed out of the South Africa AFCON.

  • JKB 11 years ago

I can understand the Coach's concern, but I think Gyan is a big boy, he could have opted out himself knowing he is injured.
