It is normally not the fault of a coach when an injured player 'pretends' he is okay and goes to play. Just a little act of self-preservation could have saved A. Gyan any further injury. Even though he scored a goal, the team would have won even if he was not in the game. A selfish decision to play could have ended his career. This is not tennis. Soccer is a team sport and that's why we have players on the bench.
I hope next time A. Gyan will remember the following:
'Don't push it, don't force it, let it happen naturally'. Anything other than that and he might be risking a permanent injury.

This has nothing to do with the GFA doctors. If Gyan wanted to play would a doctor has a say in that even though was diagnosed unfit? Have you asked Gyan who made him play? Have we heard from the player? Who would have forced the player to play if he insisted he wasn't fully fitted? If Gyan was to insist he wasn't fitted therefore couldn't play and the GFA forced him, don't you people think he would have had back-ups from he public? What are you all talking about?
You mean you people will sit for someone from one of the poorest European countries, not making sense at all in his case, to insult your own? Do you people think that is how they are there? No! They back their own. Calling us baboons and making monkey noises at the tips of the tongues on our players, however, let me guess, you people don't care.
If the coach is right, it is okay to back him-up for the sake of truth. Contrary to this, the Romanian is not right to bash on our GFA. Has someone given him an information that Gyan was forced?
You people should think about it.

I disagree with you on this one. Doesn't the technical team ask a player whether he can play or not? Who forces who to play? No body and you should be aware of that.
If one is ask and he insists to play, what rule governs such a case that a tech team shouldn't try hat player and when an injury becomes worse, we take him out? There is no rule. The same applies to a player resisting to play when unfit. There is no law to force him against his will. Therefore, supporter, I don't think you are right here.
Dede's case was different. Thus get it right! Gyan got hurt whist at camp with the Black Stars. In simple print, the tech team knew about his injury. Dede's case, on the other hand, according to him and his club coach, happened during practice with the club. Was any of the GFA executives there when that happened? When Dede was asked to come for an evaluation, did he come? A first class ticket was sent to him and refused to show up.
Now tell me, in these two cases, what do they have in common? One was evaluated the other wasn't. One's injury happened with the national team so it was witnessed, the other's injury occurred with his mother club which had a doubt to the story sent to the GFA. Where are they in common?
Get the facts right or better yet, let us wait to hear from the player, Asamoah Gyan, whether he was forced or not before you begin accusing others.

Thank u Bea. Does it mean if Asamoah Gyan"s legs were broken and he insists to play the coach will field him? It simply shows the medical team does not know the extent of the injury that is why they allowed him to play.

When talking about reasoning, on this issue, you are not. Here are my reasons.
What is the main idea about this article? Have you asked yourself that?
Let us go through it and hopefully you may get it in 100 years to come.
The question here is why Asamuah Gyan was hurt but played the match?
Now let us take it one step at a time. Let me draw your attention to Man City and Calos Taves case which relates to this issue. Where were you when Taves refused to come in from the bench when his coach asked him to? Though he wasn't hurt, he refused to come in from the bench. Did you see the coach forcing him to come in when the player refused to do so, or any other person facing him? No! Look, as century progressed, the quality of microscope improved. This alone should let you know that even if a player was been forced in the olden days, which I doubt it, it doesn't happen anymore. Asamoah Gyan is a human being and has a mouth to say I can't play even if the technical team thought he could. Are you saying Gyan doesn't have the right to protect himself? Is Gyan an infant?
Therefore you see, the point here was not who evaluated who. The point here is "why was a player who was hurt couldn't say a word but played?" You missed the point in a sense that you mixed apples with oranges which is not supposed to happen.
Now back to your fruit mixing point. Let us go though that.
The one who was evaluated by his European technical coach, as you indicated, is playing because he wasn't hurt to begin with. If he was, when he was asked to come for an evaluation, he would have showed up. Dede faked that injury just because his younger brother wasn't picked. That was all. Can you tell me how long Dede sat after that injury before he played again? Not even a single match was missed. He played the following match. If you reason at all, you should have been able to figure that out. I guess you couldn't and that tells it all.
"We're you born with your buttocks first and can't reason?" Bea pointed out.
I see, Bea. Can you please tell me what word We're is in the English Language? Were you trying to say, WE ARE because I wasn't included. If you were born through buttocks as you rightly put it, please count me out because I wasn't. In case you don't know, We're is a short form of "we are" and I don't recall anything "we" in this statement.
Next time, know whom you insult.

Both Coach Appiah and Gyan should be investigated
1) Why did Appiah field a player who was clearly injured and not fit while there were abundant talent to pick the 11 player starting line up?
2) Why should Appiah and his team claim he was fit while he was not?
3) Why did Gyan play when he knew he was not fit and go back to UAE and give the impression that he was forced to play?
4) Why did the coach play a player who is clearly off-form, not the best striker in the squad and who arguably cost Ghana the AFCON 2013, even if he was injured?
5) Are there exterior and extra curricular consideration and arrangements ( beyond football) between the GFA and Gyan?
I am a supporter of Appiah but the Gyan issue makes me doubt his credibility.. there is something dark between Gyan and the GFA which is not in the interest of the country....Who knows, the allegation that Gyan was the pointman in bribing Niger may still be credible...or is it just tribal? to get a certain number of Akans in the starting line-up every time.?
