What is wrong with Ghana football today is poor management. The GFA should be made up of selfless individuals who possess good leadership and people skills. Instead, it currently consists of members whose obvious objective in holding office is to make themselves filthy rich within the shortest possible time and by any means possible, fair or foul.
Stop dumping on Abedi and his sons. They have not wronged Ghana in any way, and certainly do not deserve any of this nonsense.

The country will suspend you and say you have been an indisciplined player. The whole country will be against you in that case.
I don't see why we are failing to see the core of the problem. Essien retired, Kevin Prince retired, A. Gyan retired (at some point), Welbeck and Balotelli almost almost played for us but refused at the last show, now the Ayews have retired. Can't we see a pattern going on? Do we want the Frimpongs, Atsus, and co to announce their retirements before we march forward and remove the GFA?

But this is not enough reason to say bye(just because the coach failed to select him). He could have given the coach benefit of doubt 1st time. There was no reason for Dede being dropped(flimsy excuse i will call it) and i think personal sentiments against their father plays a role in these decisions.Some people even think that it is due to his influence that they got called up in the 1st place forgetting that FRANCE was taking them away at the time. The boys must change their mind and come back. Copying what others did will just make their case worse;people forget all the sacrifices and insult them,leaving out some others who did exactly same and were called back.There are even talks to get Essien and KPB back.

All these disgruntled professional soccer players cannot be wrong. It was Michael Essien to begin with, then KPB and Muntari, Asamoah Gyan had issues, and now the Ayew brothers. Any one who thinks all these guys are wrong should think again. Something is cooking at the GFA and the Earlier Mr Elvis Afriyie Ankrah wakes up to do some house cleaning the better it will be for him as the new minister for youth and sports. Also, could somebody tell me how the police handles riots in Ghana these days? I am kinda worried since several years ago, I got lashed by the police near Pagan Road in Accra--all because I was in the wrong line to go and see a Bollywood movie at Opera Cinema.
Also, a couple of years ago, I was getting ready to go to "Occupy Oakland" rally in California when I heard about the Oakland Police shooting a teargas cannister that killed a homeless veteran. I decided to stay in the "comfort" of my Tacoma home.
Well, if I don't get a cheap flight soon, I might as well stay here and I might as well join the prayer vigil, which is being organized by a Ghanaian lady in Seattle--praying that something bad happens to the members of the GFA. I also heard that several of such prayer vigils are springing up all over the west coast (I mean the "left coast") of the United States.

We are not talking about , Polo, Opoku Nti , Kwasi Appia, Abede Pele, George Alhassan, just to mention a few. In the last few matches that they played, particular agianst Zambia their performance was below average. We need fresh, committed and discplined players. How many times have they won the cup African cup for us. Give us a break and let the coach concentrate. All these guys are looking for secured position yet they are not always good on the field and sometimes get tied very early into the game. Give the coach the chance to manage the team.Abede Pele was a superstar but did not win the cup when he captained because of indiscpline. We don't need that anymore.

Our present coach Mr. Kwesi Appiah
(my apologies) cannot foster the same air of professionalism and neutrality of purpose that prevailed during the reign of our last good coach Mr. M. Rajevic whom he assisted.
Under Mr. Appiah, the game of soccer has left the field of play, we no longer have opportunities to lavish praise on the tactics of the team.
Our game has become tedious, replaced by the preferences and tastes of our so called professional players, the coach and the GFA.
In Mr. Appiah, I must say the GFA does not have a dynamic coach who is independent enough to be held to account solely on the basis of performance.
With the World-Cup only a year and half away and President Mahama stressing the importance of the Blackstars participating in it and learning to take their penalty kicks before the start of any competition.
The GFA is pleased to accept an apology from the national coach.....
and we(the president included) are supposed to wait for the coach to go to some famed European club and get some much needed skills and trainning while the world-cup is impending.

Our money is being wasted on Mr. Appiah..... if he still needs more trainning to do this job. The GFA should stop insulting our intelligence and restore our pride to its former glory. The better management decision is to rehire Mr. M Rajevic, the better Serbian.
The GFA should wake up and put an end to this cheepness at the service patrotism........ who cares about the nationality of your coach if all the players are Ghanaian.
On a final note, why is Mr. Silas Tetteh coaching the Satellites and not the under-20 Team. Did he not win the Cup in Egypt?

I like that formation because in crucial games like that you need to conserve and play better defence. But besides that I congratulate the coach and all the players, I think they all did a great job. We have to encourage them to do better next time. After all we beat Mali twice and they also beat us twice so there is nothing to be ashamed about.It is only a game.
