Naija and Congo are in serious trouble. Congo's is worse because Mali are already wounded and will vent their anger on them. A draw, and Naija is fucked!

Stallion, I disagree with you that Naija is in trouble. The team in trouble in that group is Zambia that needs to beat Burkina FasO to qualify and that will not be an easy task. I don't see Zambia beating Burkina FaSO, I see a draw in that game which will eliminate Zambia if Nigeria beat Ethiopia which I envision the 419 Naija to do.
The two West Africa teams in the group, Nigeria and Burkina FasO will be the teams that move to the knockout stage with Zambia and Ethiopia going home.
As far as Congo is concerned, I don't see how they can qualify. They need to beat Mali to qualify and I don't see that happening. Even NigeR stands a better chance of qualifying than Congo. Ghana needs a draw to qualify but if we go into that match with a mentality of drawing to qualify, we will be in trouble because a lucky goal against Ghana and we will be out. We need to go into that match with an intention to win. Whoever thought Togo can beat Algeria by two goals to nil? Now Togo and Ivory Coast will come out of that group to the knockout stage.
Nigeria has the best chance of qualifying from their group than even the Burkinabese. I can't see the Ethiopians drawing or beating the Nigerians with their porous defense.

Togo needs only a draw with Tunisia (because they have better goals), but I don't think it will be easy for Togo.
Again, when I say "a draw", it doesn't mean we should go with that mentality. What it means is that we have two options (win or draw), that makes it much easier than, say, the case of Congo where they have only one choice -- win.
Good analysis, though, but Naija in trouble!

My prediction for the knockout stages.
Group A, South Africa, Cape Verde
Group B, Ghana, Mali
Group C, Nigeria, Burkina FasO
Group D, Ivory Coast and Togo
Tunishia might be able to beat Togo to move on but I forsee a draw. Togo has shown so far to have the best goalkeeper in the tournament though the Zambia Mwaenee might have something to say about that. Togo too has a solid defense and they hardly waste any scoring chances.
They impressed me with their game with both Ivory Coast and Algeria. The two chances they got, they scored like they did against Ivory Coast.
Stallion, do you see any team in this tournament beating Ivory Coast? Togo might come out to be the zindallela of the tournament.

My heart want to agree with you but my mind is telling me something, if Zambia would not make it to knockout stages that translate that their 2012 win was "flake" or they just got lucky I want Nigeria to go home so I can get in the face of that Nigeria man who would not let me sleep. Congo I want them to go home so Le Roy would back home he is been in Africa far too long I would be missing the dance skill of their goalkeeper. By the way can we make a new law all team playing CAF tournament should have a coach from their country ha ha ha.
My next question why do they have "72.7. Drawing of lots by Caf Organising Committee" in the determine process? Who do you think Caf would select in an English speaking country and French speaking are tie and they have to apply 72.7 over to you two.

POW rightly said that Mr. N has brought himself. This is a very controversial topic. Guys, let's end this topic here. I'm going to prepare to watch the SA/Morocco game.

The 72.7 is the last means to settle the score. You can't give the two teams extra time to play or 90 minutes to play; that will be a waste of time and money. If the coin is tossed in the center of the field in the full glare of everybody, the chance of it going either way is 50-50, regardless of the country's language.
