  After DR Congo held their nerve from the spot, the Super Eagles didn’t fly home quietly. Instead, they flew straight to FIFA headquarters, alleging dual passports, dark arts and deception. Penalty misses were apparently less painful than paperwork.
  First came the legal brief: DR Congo’s players were “ineligible.” Then came the spiritual briefing: the coach hinted at voodoo in the shootout, as if the ball itself was bewitched into missing the net.
