Majority of Ghanaian institutions are clueless. Management of Asante Kotoko and Accra Hearts of Oak should take a sober reflection and ask themselves why their performance is so poor these days. In the past, these two clubs were top teams because they managed to poach all top players from other teams in the country. Kwame Nkrumah did that with the Real Republicans, Liverpool and Man United used to do that. Bayern Munich is still doing it.

However, some of these players rapidly deteriorate, probably due to indiscipline, favouritism, pampering and hero-praising, which appears to have become so characteristic of football management in Ghana of late. Some days back, a Kotoko management member publicly claimed that he observed some of the players indulging at a boozing spot, the evening before the home defeat to Nsoartreman FC. This matter must be seriously investigated.

n the rest to become top class players to make Kotoko great.Now we have normal players n they are all afraid of the coach so how can they learn to play well. The coach is too much an old school headmaster who will punish you for a little mistake so I can tell you the players are not happy with the coach so they can’t play with love for the team n the coach
The players have families and friends back home n they talk to tell them the problems in Kotoko now so why are we hiding the problem.
The coach is the problem in Kotoko now. Am 100% sure all the players will jubilate if the coach is out n will be ready to play their hearts out to win matches. Ogum must go because he can never turn things around if you give 10 years. His style of coaching is ‘l AM THE BOSS N NOTHING ELSE”

The goalkeeping has been suspect lately as Pouaty snd Danlad have been poor. I am wondering why coach Ogum has not fielded Frederick Asare in goal after his return from his maiden Black Stars callup?

They are intentionally loosing matches. We will put resources together to support buying committed players. All the current crop of players will be offloaded.

After rebuilding they will hand over to anybody at all to win the league that is if false allegations and propaganda doesn't force them out like was done to them in 2003. They rebuilt a solid team and even played wac of Morocco at finals and unfortunately lost on away goal rules. They never won the league but won a lot of competitions including the FA cup even during the rebuilding process. Let's swallow our pride and ego and lets get these guys back. Herbert Mensah, George Amoako, Kojo Nyarko, Eric Coffie, Maxwell, He runs Mohammed, Kenpong, Adwin Addo, Etc etc .....
