Space FC, BA United, Not At Loggerheads

Mr.Ransford Antwi Management member of Space FC, Sunyani-based newly promoted Division One Side, has rubbished an assertion by some football followers that their Management were at loggerheads with the Management of BA United FC.

According to Mr.Antwi, the Management of Space FC and BA United have a professional relationship, which is healthy for both Clubs.

In an interview in Sunyani, he called on football lovers not to make any big deal of the recent disagreement over expected gate proceeds in a yet-to-be-played friendly between their respective Clubs. “It was indeed a small matter that was quickly resolved last week, and that the proposed friendly match between Space FC and BA United is definitely happening on Sunday, at the Sunyani Coronation Park, he said.

Mr.Ransford Antwi, a former Management member of the Zico Administration of BA United stated, he is personally looking forward to the match, as he has not watched his former Club play, since their painful and unnecessary removal from office in 2004.

According to him, he and his brother Zico have nothing against BA United, and reiterated his stance that their Club was not out to cause the demise of any Club in the Brong Ahafo Region. “We’re going to make football attractive in the Region, and already, people are beginning to have a feel of the tremendous good-will we enjoy among the football fraternity, he stated. He added, We have an opportunity to invest in a venture that truly belongs to us, which is a great feeling”.
