Medeama keep double hopes alive after FA Cup victory

The domestic double hopes of Medeama is still on after the Mauves sailed through to the semi-finals of the MTN FA Cup on Sunday.

Medeama defeated Heart of Lions 2-0 in the quarter-final clash at the T&A Park to reach the last four.

However, they have a cracker ahead of them in the Cup competition as they will meet Hearts of Oak in the semi-final fixture in June.

Goals from Godbless Asamoah after six minutes and an 88th minute strike by Victor Ayirey gave Medeama the home win.

Medeama are sitting top of the Premier League log and will be hoping for better finish in both competitions.
