Former England International, Emile William Ivanhoe Heskey has expressed surprise to the amazing football talents he witnessed in Ghana during a football clinic he participated prior to the second leg of Vodafone Unity Match in Accra.

The 38 year old was joined by world stars including Stephen Appiah, Dwight Yorke, Edgar Davids, Alex Song, William Gallas, Sol Campbell among others who schooled young aspiring footballers from the Mandela Academy and their technical handlers on to how harness their talents.

The former Liverpool legend said the football clinic at the Wembley football park was very good, and expressed surprise about the magnificent facility he saw.

“I wouldn’t be surprised to see a wonderful generation of talented players for Ghana in the near future,” he said.

The 38 year old who won 62 caps for England also lauded the initiative of the program and thanked the organizes (Primeval Media) for staging a largely successful event.
