Hearts sign goalkeeper Michael Abu

Hearts of Oak have completed the signing of goalkeeper Michael Abu on a three-year contract, GHANAsoccernet.com can confirm.

The deal to sign the former goalkeeper of Elmina Sharks was firmed up two weeks ago but has been put under wraps.

Abu joins the Phobians as a free agent having impressed during trials with the club.

He becomes the first signing of Hearts under new coach Kenichi Yatsuhashi.

Hearts are however still pushing to sign Daniel Agyei from Liberty Professionals to intensify competition in the goalkeeping department.
