Hearts & Kotoko Play Today

March 6 -- Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak will today launch their bid to win the African Champions' League. In a second round, first leg tie Asante Kotoko will host Royal Armed Forces (FAR) of Morocco in Kumasi, while Hearts of Oak trek to Port Harcourt, Nigeria, to face two-time Nigerian Premier League champions, Dolphin Football Club.

Kotoko lifted the trophy in 1970 and 1983 and finished runners-up to compatriots Hearts in last year's Confederation Cup. Hearts lifted the trophy in 2000.

The winners of this years title, go to Japan in December for the lucrative Fifa world club Championship.
