Nyarko handed fresh start

Former Everton man Alex Nyarko has completed his move to Norway with Start. Nyarko had failed his original medical with the club but was passed fit on Friday after a second check.

"Alex is now declared medically fit," said Start spokesman Harald Andersen.

"He will go with the Start team when they travel to La Manga on Saturday.

"The final signing of the contract will be performed whilst he is there."

Nyarko had trained with Middlesbrough and Southampton in a bid to find another English club - after failing to earn a work permit for the last season of his contract with Everton.
