Ghana's Friendlies: Avram Grant lands in US

Avram Grant has arrived in the United States of America ahead of Ghana’s international friendlies against Peru and Canada next week.
The Black Stars gaffer is expected to be joined by his backroom staff and players by Thursday to begging preparations for the double-header.
US-based Harrison Afful, Adam Kwarasey and David Accam have confirmed their participation in the games while Gideon Baah has also confirmed his first invitation into the national team.
“Avram is already in the US as he waits the arrival of his backroom staff and the players he intends to invite,” Black Stars management committee chief George Afriyie confirmed.
The Israeli coach is expected to announce a 20-man squad for the two friendly games on Monday.
The Black Stars will take on Peru on October 9 before slugging it out against Canada four days later at the JFK Stadium.
