Avram Grant has disclosed his discontinuation of the Ghana job after AFCON 2017 in Gabon.

This means the former Chelsea manager would not extend his contract after he guides the senior national team to the continent’s biggest mundial early next year.

Grant has already been reported to be in talks with some English clubs over the possibility of going back to club assignment.

"The competitiveness and creativity in training every day of the week is different. There is no doubt that I miss it," Grant told Israeli radio station 102FM.

"My contract ends after the African Cup of Nations Championships in Gabon early next year.

"Next year, at the end of my contract, it is possible I will coach a team in England."

Grant coached Chelsea, Portsmouth and West Ham United before having stints in Serbia and Thailand before taking over the Black Stars.
