CAF appoints Referee Lamptey for Dynamos/Mezembe match

Accra, July 16, GNA - The Confederation of Africa Football (CAF) has appointed Ghana's referee Joseph Lamptey as the middle man for the Champions League game between Dynamos FC of Zimbabwe and T.P. Mezembe DR Congo on Sunday, July 18 at the Rufaro National Stadium, Harere, Zimbabwe.

Referee Lamptey will be assisted by three other Ghanaians in the match according to the appointments released by CAF. They are Haruna Ayuba and Badiu Ibrahim on lines one and two respectively, with Reginald Lathbridge as the fourth referee.

The referees have since left Ghana for the assignment and are expected back on Monday, July 19.
