News anchor Bridget Otoo has been subjected to cyberbullying after she announced her tap has not been running for a fortnight.

Her tweet was a direct reaction to President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s address to the nation, Sunday, assuring Ghanaians of stable supply of water and electricity to make life under lockdown comfortable.

Among other reliefs, the president said: “the Ghana Water Company Ltd and the Electricity Company of Ghana have been directed to ensure the stable supply of water and electricity during this period. In addition, there will be no disconnection of supply.

“Furthermore, Government will absorb the water bills for all Ghanaians for the next three months, i.e. April, May and June. All water tankers, publicly and privately-owned, are also going to be mobilised to ensure the supply of water to all vulnerable communities.”

The journalist, however, suggested that the president has a gift of persuasive oratory hence, she will lower her expectations.

“Let’s examine this water bill... my water hasn’t flowed in two weeks. I swear Nana Addo get muff...” her tweet read.

Her post awakened the fury in some social media users as they launched scathing attacks on her.
