Ashanti Classic derby fixed for March 9

Asante Kotoko’s “Ashanti Classic” derby clash against AshantiGold in the Ghana Premier League has been moved to March 9, 2016.

The two sides were expected to meet this Sunday at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium but has been rescheduled due to AshantiGold’s CAF Champions League tie at MO Bejaia.

This will mean back-to-back games for Kotoko who will face Medeama at home three days earlier in their Week III encounter.

But Kotoko will have more time to correct mistakes during Saturday’s 2-0 defeat at WAFA in the league opener.
