Do we have laws in Ghana such as "You shall not steal"?

Reclaim the land for the school. Have the encroachers restore the land at the encroachers' expense. This includes demolishing all properties erected on the land. They must do jail time. This is the only way to deter poaching of lands in Ghana.

Why do we want the government to do everything? Where is the Methodist Church and those who are well to do in the society? This will not happen in Kwahu area. One person will take the responsibility of helping with infrastructure. Where the government comes in is to stop encroachment, tear down encroached structures and provide security to prevent the school as a thoroughfare.
If the Methodist church which is very rich refurbishes the school, then people from other faiths cannot tell them how to run the school or their children should be exempted from some school practices. New students should be made to sign to abide by all school regulations. You cannot be in a boarding house in Pope John or St. and refuse to attend morning assembly, 12 midday mass or Sunday worship. You will be dismissed. Government should give some of the schools back to the churches to maintain.

I later gained admission at New Era and finally at Odorgonno.

And believe me from 1963 -1968 that I attended we had very good masters and standard was above average. Yes, infrastructure was not up to the standard of other older sec. schools, but we never studied unders huts.
