What hurts me most is seeing a teacher who is unable to read his / her own language yet, trying to read and speak English like a British born. Some offices give priorities to English speaking at the point of employing new workers. This is why people send their wards to the private schools. These days you can meet a child who would tell you, "we are not taught Akan at school" yet the child is unable to read English. We need our education minister to come seriously strong against that trend.
