  Why do we use use inferior steel for the railings? Over here in Europe you will not see such railings rusting away. Ideally, a mixture of steel and aluminium alloy which is lust-free should be used. Such alloys can also stay ...

  Why do we use use inferior steel for the railings? Over here in Europe you will not see such railings rusting away. Ideally, a mixture of steel and aluminium alloy which is lust-free should be used. Such alloys can also stay for several years without any problem.

  Citizens should start talking action against the authorities for neglecting their duty to safeguard the safety of the taxpayers, and also the proper care of state assets, just the same way they prosecute people for failing to pay taxes period. Being in power is not only about collecting taxes but also putting it to good use. I am therefore suggesting that the people who think they are affected by the dangerous situation should as a matter of fact take all the authorities concerned to the court for neglecting their duty.

  .....AND LACK OF ROUTINE POLICE PATROLS IN OUR CITIES! When are we going to learn the habit of maintaining the little infrastructure that we have been able to acquire instead of leaving things to go into ruin before we realise the need to take action? Why do we pay all these people in the Municipal and City councils who never seem to deliver and still keep staying in their posts? The Police also fail in their basic duty of patrolling our towns and cities to ensure basic law and order and yet nothing happens to those in charge of these institutions?? Time to change attitudes and to stop the rot in our social fabric!

  That, after spending so much money on a park they called Rattray Park, after a colonialist.
  
  The same goes for the entire stretch of the Accra-Kumasi road. After nearly 20 years, it is not enough to say sections of the road have been completed.
  
  Akufo Addo must swiftly ensure these things a corrected acting though appropriate level-headed officials.

  Replace the pedestrian guard rails or paint them now!
