Don't you think it would be a Herculean task for past students of the school to address these issues finally? This should be the duty of the govt to provide these needs and not past students. This is why some of us are worried that some taxes have been reduced and others abolished because we think the revenue of government is going to shrink and so providing needs such as these would be quite Herculean task if not altogether a Herculean one. How much do past students earn that they could contribute to provide these needs? Should we wait for our government to better our lives so that we ask past students to build houses for teachers and accommodation for students? Any how don't you think that amount of 252mGHS that would provide free education at the SHS a year could have been better used to provide these needs as parents who are unable to build teachers' and students'accommodations at their ward's school, pay their wards' fees with exceptions being made for few who cannot really afford?

Why government in these matters? These are purely problems or issues to be dealt with by the head and his management team of the, parents and board of governors. After all the head of the school is supposed to be the MANAGER. And does a manager does in his/her organization? The head is not there to see students pass examination but also to organize, solve administrative and managerial problems involving the welfare of students, teaching and non-teaching staff. The principal and team should use their capabilities to sit and think deep and provide solutions instead of complaining. Has management considered ways to reduce electricity wastage by students and teachers? Just one example.

There will be even less money available with 'free education'.
Are you prepared to provide even more money for recurrent expenditure and also for maintenance of schools?
The more one considers the situation in our schools, the more one realises that free education is not what the education system needs. Rather the system needs further provision of resources to maintain schools.
Free education is a reckless populist policy aimed only at fulfilling the NPP party manifesto.

NDC national headquarters must be investigated by the ECG,an extensive audit of their light bill could be reviling as I suspect them big time considering the kind if appliances they use there.We be heard many companies including private homes complained of high tariffs except the Ndc who unjustifiable subjected many businesses to this economy hardships.Not only that if ECG should conduct investigations into homes of this politician and big men the public ll be amazed the kind of results we ll get,we ve had institutions who re charge with the responsibility to check and prevent illegality and fraud in the system but they sleep on the job allowing others to take advantage of them while other re arrested for small crimes.
