I would like to correct a perception that the inhabitants of Zongos in our cities are predominately from Northern Ghana. The truth of the matter is 90% of them are aliens and Moslem economic migrants from neighboring countries, mainly from Togo, Benin, Burkina Faso, Niger, Mali, Nigeria and few from the other West African countries. The lingua franca between Zongolese is a "broken Hausa" or "adulterated Hausa language", and Hausa is not a Ghanaian language. It is rather the language of Hausas in the north of Nigeria.
What Ghana needs now is another "Aliens Compliance Order" to kick them out for good. That is the only way we can develop a better and authentic ID system in our country. With the present system, Zongos will always exist and expand in our cities because the aliens will never stop coming and claiming the citizenship of our dear country fraudulently.

Instead there is only one headmaster of Achimota School and the rest are assistant headmasters. These positions or new departments pertinent to the school are created within the school.

So, tell us, do those decisions seem reasonable to your critical mind?
Fact it, structures already exist, the basis of a that same wart-infested Rawlings Constitution Akufo Addo seems not inclined to touch, to reform.
But, that is solely needed right now.
And when an executive create as many as they ministers, that is far from showing interest in building institutions.
What would restrict the President?
Again, structures already exist!
But, moderation and deliberate action is required here. From our end, it is surely not "premature" to critique President Akufo Addo and Vice President Bawumia to the point we do not see evidence of those 2 values in their monumental actions barely 1 week after their "coronation".

He took time to craft a manifesto which is a social contract sort of,that was what he took to the electorate to help cure the issues,Hes come and he is setting up structures within the constitutional frame work to address the issues and opposition members says what?He should come and use NDC green or yellow book?
One thing I admire about Nana Addo is his focus!!!Inspite of the tons of insults against his personality by these NDC so called communicators since 2000 or thereabout he has kept his cool!!

Planning ministry objectively . Obviously there would be duplicity of roles if the Planning ministry decides to actively engage in physical and socio-economic planning since there are state agencies (TCPA,NDPC and Metro, Municipal and district Assemblies) mandated to do that at national and district level. The Planning ministry's role in my humble opinion, should be to coordinate planning in Ghana. This means that socio-economic planning which is done at national level by the National Development Planning Commission and Spatial planning which is the responsibility of the Town and Country Planning would be harmonized. The harmonisation of plans lacked in the past, but
is necessary so that if we set a socio-economic goal of setting up factories in every district our physical planners can take this goal and create land use plans which will make room for industrial hubs with appropriate land take,location and surrounding land uses. So we hope that the Planning ministry would focus on this role. It would be great if NADMO can be roped in under the new Planning ministry so that they can shift their focus from disaster relief to disaster risk assessment, prevention,mitigation and preparedness planning. This would mean that the plans we build for our cities would have three core attributes of being relevant,spatially functional and resilient.

For example the Railway and road development will enhance the development of more industries. It will decongest major routes and create more jobs for both the skilled and unskilled labour.
