The Volta region too is no longer the 'World Bank' and stronghold of the NDC con-men. After snatching the party from Rawlings and his wife by the 'babies with sharp teeth', and ignoring the developmental needs of the Volta region and its people, the people of the region now feel betrayed and have joined their brothers and sisters in the other parts of the country to reject the NDC party.
I, therefore, advise Mr. Mahama and his 'babies with sharp teeth' to make the Gonjaland their world bank and the stronghold of the party instead of the Volta region if they can.

Those who can remember and know it should cast their minds back to the wild promise NPP made to even shoeshine boys that they willbe employed as policemen,customs officers and immigration officers. Remember the queues under NPP to register for jobs that never came. As a result of the disappointment, such hawkers, shoeshine boys were scrimped and saved and many trekked the desert journey and Mediterranean sea journey and died on the way. There was a whole boatload of Africans that capsized and about 300 Africans drowned; those who know about this incident know that the majority were Ghanaians , specifically from Brong Ahafo, from such villages/towns as Chirapatre. I know all this because I handled quite a great quantity of documents of Ghanaians immigrating during the NPP days and I had contact to those hustlers but today it is negligible.
