Stop educating Ghanaians, it makes like brains disintegrate. It is not only about waste disposal, it's about everything, driving, talking, walking, eating, you name it and we do behave like SAVAGES. I feel so bad, because I have observed white people and they aren't that special, just regular human behavior, but I swear to God we are a cursed race. Stupid, ignorant, ugly and we just keep piling onto these godforsaken characteristics. Worse of all, we keep breeding more sub intelligent species.

Let me say it again: TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN; - Just like any criminal act or proclivity, that leads to loss and destruction of valuable lives and property of individuals and the state the constant and persistent resort to MORAL APPEALS is NOT only useless and unproductive but simply highly reckless and very IRRESPONSIBLE of all whose duty it is to ensure that citizens apart from been over educated on their inalienable rights and freedoms are also enjoined by law to BE RESPONSIBLE TO THEIR CIVIL responsibilities and stop shouting their rights all the time...such acts of indiscriminate littering that persistently leads to needless loss of life and property is nothing short of CRIMINAL act and such be severely punished without fear or favor...we need to instil discipline in our people or else we cannot be taken any seriously as a nation....

Lets stop complaining and do the right thing as Ghanaians. Can you imagine someone building a ten bedroom house in a swampy area with its footing level below ten inches? Waiting to complain when the rains are with us.

The problem is the government need to do more, if you live in a country where unemployment rate is this high, the people like things for free, if the people can not afford to buy food to feed them self and their families how do you expect them to pay for trash that does not benefit them but to dispose it, those people will always find a way to get things done of free of charge, my suggestion is we need to go back to the days when a piece of land was a located for refuse dump in every communities for the town and city council to take care of that otherwise this will continue until thy kingdom come, gone out the days when the towns and cities councils were in charge of refuse, towns and cities were more sanity than it is today, the so call zoom lions are not effective due to the same financial difficulties, so if government will use the taxpayers money properly than their unnecessary bus branding and so forth and so on then we are going to continue to have this F**ing problems

Attitude of Ghanaians is a huge problem in all manner of ways, but ignorance and illiteracy is another. Many many years ago, when I visited the United States, I happen on a film produced by the US government which taught basic manners - how to eat with forks and spoons and table knives. Just after the second world war, a huge inflow of very poor Eastern Europeans migrated to the United States. These new migrants needed to be integrated into American society. The children of people from Poland and Estonia and Romania became the primary targets of the process of induction and indoctrination. The children went to school, and were then taught basic table manners and how to dress and wear shoes. Once the lessons sunk in, the children then made their parents to learn. Ghana ought to be doing something similar. Teach the children from kindergarten on to frown on throwing garbage into the streets and gutters. DVDs and such media can be distributed throughout Ghana schools which teach these things. Over time, the attitude of the people will begin to change. Grown up will stop throwing trash into sewers. As an adjunct to thus effort, the municipal authorities can provide more trash cans so people will have a place to thrown their trash. The attitude of the people can be modified. Let us begin the task today.

It's absolutely right to note that the attitudes of the public is contributing drastically to these continuous flooding of the cities of Ghana. In as much as that truth remains, I know as well that all Countries around the World spend monies on public education aiming at redirecting the behaviour and attitudes of the citizenry. It may seem little to us as a practice but it has been a very effective instrument which can equally transform the Ghanaian population as to our ways of littering everywhere, spitting all around, urinating at random everywhere, as well as our bad driving habits. There seems to be no regulations on Ghana roads, with everyone taking to any lanes of choice without regards of speed limits. Please let our political system stop spending our precious resources on the BIG V8s and begin to see what is most needful to the population and handle them first since it's not as costly as their Big Cars.
