Since Adams th kings and chiefs of our land Ghana have ruling till now but the land has never seen a thing to be proud of them, except selfishness, tribalism and indiscipline and corruption.Ghana is a nation and can't have two constitutional governments.
We thank you but chiefs and kings should accept their cornerback and leave the nation to the Mayors, Governors and the President to handle the nation. We are tired of your selfishness, intimidation, and corruptions.Countries without Chiefs and Kings are doing far better than us with you.

Ga chiefs has no vision. They are all stomach chiefs and cannot do any developmental projects for their subjects. Gas are lost mentally. Nothing to write home about.

I agree with you 100% on this. The chiefs in Ghana have tainted their reputation with bribes, politics and land sales. This Ga chief has raised a good point that I have been thinking about all the time but they have lost it a long time ago. Greedy Ashanti chiefs were the first to join politics with Rawlings. Agogohene Akuoko Sarpong and Esumegyahene Oduro Nimapau were the leaders. It will be difficult for Ghana to trust our chiefs joining together with our politicians because they are all corrupt.

Heck no. Do not give these chiefs any more powers than they currently have. If these chiefs can show Ghanaians what benefits they've contributed to Ghana's development with their House of Chiefs, then they deserve more powers. These chiefs can't even mediate successfully in chieftaincy issues. Most of the chiefs preside in the wholesale give away of the people's lands without any form of accountability to the people. The chiefs, through the House of Chiefs, can ask to work more closely with their local governments, and that surely will not be denied.
