Don't you know with the construction sector alone jobs can be created? People would be needed to drive vehicles and equipment, render accounting and financial and catering services. Only a lazy person who has not equipped himself like you would standby idly when a development project passes by their door step with the excuse that it is not a sustainable project. I know the Volta Region to be full of artisans of all kinds, from welders, brick layers, electricians and drivers. So if you cannot take advantage, don't blame anyone than your lazy self.

Sustainable jobs without better transportation system? Waooo, you must be thankful you are getting better roads! That is what will spur economic growth in your area, that will actually be a prompt to sustainable job creation in your area and Ghana.
Let us bury Political affiliations and see what is best for Ghana. Let us encourage the building of more roads into the hinterlands and not deprive any in Ghana easy accessibility to other areas of the Country.

IT AMAZES ME HOW CLASS ONE POLITICS WHICH IN TODAY'S WORLD SEEM INSULTING SHOULD BE USED TO FOOL PEOPLE INTO VOTING FOR A USELESS POLITICAL PARTY STILL. This has happened many times, and I don't think it would end so long as those who are fooled with it refuse to think. Every time there is an election, ROAD CONSTRUCTION OR SOME OTHER CONSTRUCTION WORK IS USED TO FOOL THE PEOPLE. Should they wait till election time. THINK PEOPLE THINK.
Also, Only a fool would be happy in being called NAMES (WORLD BANK, IMF) when he is suffering still today after foolishly voting many times for a USELESS POLITICAL PARTY that has no idea about GOOD GOVERNANCE. Don't let them call you names if you are smart. It is time to vote the USELESS NDC GOVERNMENT OUT.

Why are Voltarians so satisfied with petty mercies AND FORGET THE BIGGER PICTURE? Is it because of poverty or lack of exposure? Sometimes I feel sad to belong to the Volta region. This Dead goat government has borrowed over 100 BILLION DOLLARS and Listen to the developments in the Volta Region, the so called World Bank.
(1)“This follows the construction of a 3.5-km road through the Avunoe Lagoon”,
(2) The 5.9 km road project started in March 2015 after it had been awarded on January 27, 2012 (2012 was an election year and even 2016 5.9 kilometers road has not been completed in the Volta Region and it is another campaign message in 2016!!!.
(3) The Ho Municipality WILL ( in the future, after elections everything is over) benefit from 25km of its roads being asphalted under the Phase I of the programme.
Why do the Ayigbe people continue to vote for this irresponsible NDC? VOLTA REGION CHANGE YOUR VOTING PATTERN. NDC HAS NOTHING TO OFFER YOU!!!.

You see your stupidity? Every election year mahama comes to the Volta region with the words; I assure, I will, I pledge and immediately after elections, nothing substantive happens until the next election year. We have fooled ourselves so much that even pepeni has identified this and is capitalizing on our acceptance of petty things and stealing our resources. How can you borrow all these money and have the effrontery to come and stand before us to tell us he constructed 5 and 9 kilometer roads and WILL construct others in Ho, Hohoe etc in election year? And you believe this man? More so now that the country is being planned and budgeted for IMF. This mentality should change else we shall perpetually remain in ignorance and poverty. How do you vote for a northerner who appoints most of the ministers, board chairmen, directors from the north and does minor reshuffle bringing ayigbe people in an election year and you claim that is your party? It does not make sense. Let's vote for a change and see what others too can do. We are all Ghanaians and not tribalists. For once let us not vote for NDC. If you don't like NPP, you can still vote a protest vote for CPP. Enough is enough. Let us vote like thinking human beings.
