My simple and honest question is: was this school ever housed within a structure in this community? How many inhabitants are there in this community? The report made reference to class 4 and 5 pupils. However, in the accompanying photos, the population of the two classes is well under 20. Will it therefore be cost-effective to construct a multi-million cedis school block just to house a few score pupils? Let's be realistic. It is true we have challenges and there are still many communities with schools under trees or without any structure to house them but do we have to make capital out of the plight of pupils studying under trees? This current trend of going about in search of schools under trees just to spite the NDC government of JDM is utter nonsense. How long had Prof Mills/JDM government being in power? What did the preceding government of the NPP do about this problems? Why don't journalists bring us stories about dilapidated schools in the urban areas? Rather they go to villages and cottages, which are areas that are deprived and that can't boast of any infrastructure or utilities whatsoever. Please let's stop this cheap journalism. Even in the developed economies, there are homeless people and beggars.

Sappey-Agboh, your comment is very interesting. No matter what you call it I think you should have asked yourself, why the people voted for the NDC instead of the NPP? Don't you think their preference was based on the latter's inability to build a school for them? So why do you blame the NPP? Do you have any evidence indicating that it is the NPP which is financing these journalists to go round and fish out such deplorable schools just to discredit the government? Let's be reasonable in our thinking. Are you prepared to send your child to such a school? Or if you are a teacher would you accept teaching there? Is it wrong for the plight of these children be brought to the attention of the government? It doesn't matter which government is in power, no one forced anyone to be president. May be Mahama by default became a president, but he stood and told everybody that he was the best among all the other candidates which resulted in he being elected. Now the man is touting his achievements and even seeking for another term, do you think it is wrong for his attention to be brought to such an unfortunate condition? The situation was there before Mahama became president, but the people trusted and put their faith in him as the better among the other candidates. Now accounting for what he has done he regrettably did not mention them at all because he had failed them. But Sappey-Agboh take note he will go back to them again for their mandate or you think he won't ? When a government is being critized please don't us be so incised such that we fail to reason. May be your worry is the timing but if no one shows this now, which time do you suggest? Every politician should be held accountable. You see in my opinion the existing schools should not be left to rot whilst new ones are being built. So the president promising to build 200 new schools he should have taken into consideration bringing existing schools into acceptable conditions. Whatever it is, schools under trees should even be rehabilitated before putting up new ones. Sappy-Agbor please don't blame the NPP because it is their failure to cater for these people that is why they voted for the NDC. They should accept the blame in good faith and work to improve the situation. Five years is too long a time for such a problem to exist.

People behave as if NDC under President John Mahama is the only government Ghanaians have seen since independence. Such critics have soon forgotten that we have had several administrations since independence and that if it were so easy as they want us to believe, then president Mahama 's government would not have come to meet the problem they want us to believe was created by the present administration. Where were those critics under President Kuffuor' s eight years administration? If it were so easy why didn't He all the nation's problems within that period?Governance is a process and people must appreciate that. The NDC government' s efforts in infrastructural development especially in the area of education is hugely uncomparable considering what president Mahama has been able to achieve within the last three years if His administration. The opposition must learn to criticize constructively.

This is the real achievements of John Dramani Mahama. This is the real state of the nation. And this is the reality of the Ghanaian and not the propagandist story painted by John Mahama in his SOTN address to Ghanaians.
The verdict is all but clear, John Dramani Mahama cannot govern this country. The veil of propaganda has been peeled away and his so-called achievements has been exposed as a very dangerously disturbing piece of fakery, cooked to hoodwink and fool the masses for wrongful electoral gain. John Mahama has failed the governance test and is unfit to govern Ghana, period.
