Why waste your time on illiteracy. Kumasi is now home to everyone like Accra. That fool just wants to insult Ashantis and found an occasion through the accident. Let him worry 24 hours over the greatness of the Ashantis.

The Police and Fire Service personnel should have cordoned off the road and move people away from the accident scene.
I simply cannot understand why some people think it's definitely a clever idea to scoop up fuel from an overturned tanker.

The people are so poor that they would take any risk to make a few Cedis to live on, and damn the consequences. This is how low this country has sunk to. Life has become so meaningless for the majority of citizens that for even 5 Cedis, Ghanaians would risk their own lives or even kill.
This desire to scramble for trifles in order to keep limbs and soul together is extended to the option to rob others at gun/knife point to make some money.

My wife rightfully calls them the nonsensical roundabouts and turns the heavy truckers have to negotiate Kumasi. Why can somebody from the national or local government do something about them and make it easier for the north-bound heavy trucks to pass through Kumasi without the numerous dangerous accidents a lot of the trucks encounter. Better still why can there be a total bypass road avoiding Kumasi all together for the trucks to and from the north and Burkina Faso. I am certain that truck owners and drivers would be happy to pay a toll on a road bypassing Kumasi considering all the headaches the truckers go through negotiating single lane roundabouts and 45 degree road turns. Let the government act now to save life and property.

I have tried to understand the logic of those extremely silly mini-roundabouts and 'tracks' that are misrepresented as roads in Kumasi without any success.
I have often wondered that did the people who planned them, built them and who continue to watch them cause accidents year-in-year-out, ever undergo to any appreciable level of education?
Dont all those clowns who call themselves DCEs, Regional Ministers, Police Commanders, sector Ministers and the endless trail of fools who pompously ride around in 4x4s, live in govt bungalows staffed with all kinds of amenities and house-helps, and who work in fully air-conditioned luxury offices - all charitably provided by the state so that they can better take care of us, see this anomaly all over in Kumasi? Are they all blind, stupid or just plain incompetent?
Surely, Im sure they can find enough time after stealing the country's wealth to at least correct some of these basic wrongs in our society that cause so much death and suffering.
