Dr Richard Anani was the roads minister if they had done proper feasibility studies they could have known that the rock type and put protection there. The engineers are wrong nets are not used to keep heavy sliding rocks together. Nets are used when rocks are on the floor like sea defence wall. falling rocks are too heavy. Drill holes and sink steel rods into them. Or build solid retaining wall high enough to hold rock off the road. Do it well this time. Again it is not the construction that is making rocks fall, may be minor quakes as it lies along the quake line. Look there are intelligent folks in Ghana look for them. Watchout how was the contract awarded and how much. Another chop chop in in the name of emergency. Ghanaians open your eyes.

The issue here isn't about NDC or NPP, but about Ghanaians.

Is it the contractor who does the feasibility studies, or the Consultant is appointed in that field of speciality to conduct a feasibility study to determine the type of construction or remedy to be applied? It must be clear who does what and not. If the feasibility is not done, how do you know what is to be done for the engagement of a contractor. so the contractor presents his own study and cost for who to vet it in that expert view of what is to be done taking into account, the material required.
