    UCC, is this policy not too harsh? I'm not your student but I feel it's too extreme.

    The article did not say 1 fail amounts to dismissal.

    It said, and I reproduce: "teacher trainee students who fail a paper after re-sitting an examination is either dismissed or re-enrolled as a first year student."

    Education should consider the overall effect on the nation and not look at this issue in a myopic manner. After all, we have 1st class up to pass in our grading system. Why not adopt it to save us from challenges?

    Are you sure Lecturers set the grade marks or the academic board?

    THIS IS PRESIDENT'S DIRECTIVE BECAUSE THE GOVERNMENT CAN'T PAY THE NEW TEACHERS SO WICKEDLY THEY PREFER DISMISSING THEM AT THE LEVEL OF TRAINING. SURELY THIS WICKED GOVERNMENT MUST BE VOTED OUT IN 2016.
