It is high time the government introduced well reformed policies and laws so as to minimise vehicular fatalities. 1) If a driver is in control of a vehicle with a passenger(s), the rule should make it that, the passenger(s) safety should be one of the most concerned priorities of the driver. 2)Drivers who fail to obey road signs, if caught, should be penalised heavily, in a court of law. 3)In case of an accident, the manner of such accident should be thoroughly investigated promptly to determine the cause of the fault of such accident. Ghanaians have stayed aloof for too long without strict controls as to how drivers should behave behind the wheels. Intoxication, not paying attention while driving, lack of vehicular maintenance have taken a toll on many innocent lives for far too long. It is high time we wake up to prevent occurrences.
