  It is about time Ghanaians get to know of their rights as citizens. Many Ghanaians including, excuse me to say, elite in the society, do not seem to know their rights. In issue like this, the journalists first have to file for compensation because they were injured on the job, secondly, the insurance of the vehicle involved should compensate them for their injuries before they can even hold the government of the day for compensation. If they had done this, it would not have taken that long to receive what is due to them. I hope they are reading this and make a move by talking to a LAWYER who will be in a position and will to help them.

  Opening up an attempt at government coffers Isn't it?these journalists so called are weighing up the possibilities at duping the government through blackmail.
  
  They have been told that government is going to compensate the recent hangers on journalist involved in the accident of which the Ghanian Times journalist sadly lost his life.
  
  There is a simple answer,journalist must bear the cost of their news gathering since it is a private business enterprise.
  
  The only reason why government is arranging their transport is either to influence what they write or have their kick backs from the transport companies who are mostly friends or party members.
