Ghanaians always want a change for the sake of it mostly to show that they have brought that change.
What is the sense to change to what they are proposing?
Shame to them.

Go and read prof benings book on how uds was set up and you will agree that it was going to be a matter of time before the university is split up.

If that will reduce quality address the issue of quality but don't seek to sabotage it!

We all know the amount of politics and tamalization of the university.
Tamale wants to take over everything at the expense of the other campuses.
We wait to see whether the dagombas will allow someone from another tribe to be the next V.C

Why split the UDS? What is the rationale behind this move? Is it to fulfil the NDC's promise of establiahing universities in all the ten regions? Posterity will not forgive Prez. Mahama if he destroy the UDS.

Mcom sandwish is run in Nyankpala, it now an AGRICULTURE descipline? Medical microbology, parasitology, botany were courses in Navrongo, they are now in Tamale campus, what happened? Can somebody explain? It ll be best each campus stand as full university because the law never said Tamale alone should have 3campuses. Tamale , Nyankpala and choggu campuse. If this is not to kill the other campuses then whats is that suppose to be?

Please, there is a need for clarify in terms of what UDS can perform its role as higher education. As at now, instruction is he least priority of the university because lecturers especially from WA and Navrongo keep running back and forth to Tamale for meetings at the expense of the doing their work-teaching and research. Does it not strike you and your Dagomaba nationalists as counterproductive? What does Dagbon lose is each campus is developed into full-fledge university? What do you want you chiefs to do in preventing autonomous campuses except to whip up unnecessary tribal sentiments over what will best serve northern Ghana? Enough of this parochial interests!
